\r\nThe Spotted Cory, Corydoras agassizii, is a white fish with a black mask that covers the face and ends behind the eye. The front edge of the dorsal fin is black and this coloration extends down the side of the body to form an irregular vertical line. The space between the line and the mask is yellowish and iridescent. The rest of the body is covered with horizontal dashed lines that give it a spotted appearance. This fish can be confused with Corydoras melanistius, which is also called the Spotted Cory, but it is duller in color than C. agassizii, has smaller spots that do not appear as dashed lines, and its mask does not cover its snout as it does with C. agassizii.\r\n\r\n
