Spotted Ctenopoma – Ctenopoma acutirostre – Small

The Spotted Ctenopoma is a rare relative of gouramis and climbing perches that is only recently gaining aquarium popularity. Their brown, spot-covered bodies help this fish to blend in with foliage and avoid predators in its native environment.

Ctenopoma will usually accept foods like flakes and pellets in the home aquarium, but worm and shrimp-based frozen and freeze-dried foods can also be given to add variety.
