The fern while pleasing to the eye provides an ideal medium for the fish to spawn in, it will not decay and is harmless to fish. Made from real fern which has been dried then dyed in vibrant colours for a dramatic look. How To Use: Rinse the fern thoroughly under a running cold water tap before placing in your aquarium or fish tank. The fern can be trimmed to the required size before placing in your aquarium. Push the base of the aquarium fern into the substrate, pinset tweezers are ideal for doing this. Once the fern is located into the substrate, ideally to just above the plant weight on the base, push some of the substrate around the base as this will also aid anchoring of the aquarium fern.
