Purple Tang – Zebrasoma xanthurum

\r\nThe Purple Tang (Zebrasoma xanthurum) is a popular and sought-after tang found only in the Red Sea. They have a deep purple to royal blue body color with a faint pattern of spots across the head and back and stripes on the body. The tail is golden yellow and the pectoral fins are also often yellow, especially in mature fish. These tangs are particularly susceptible to conditions like Head and Lateral Line Erosion due to nutritional and environmental stresses.\r\n\r\n
