Seachem Prime is a complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water aquariums, to remove ammonia, chlorine and chloramine. It converts ammonia to a safe, non-toxic product that is removed easily by the filter. It is ideal to use during water cycling to regulate ammonia and nitrate levels. Prime detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. It will also detoxify any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. Prime also promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coating on certain types of fish, keeping them in the best of health.
