Blue Angel – Holacanthus bermudensis – Medium Adult

The Blue Angel (Holacanthus bermudensis) is found throughout the Caribbean and western Atlantic and is similar in appearance to the Queen Angel (H. ciliaris) in both juvenile and adult forms. The juvenile Blue Angel is yellow with one bright blue/white stripe running along the dorsal fin, two bracketing the eye and two more vertically on its flanks. The adult is greyish blue-green with pale rims on the scales. This is one of the larger angelfish in the aquarium trade and needs a large tank with lots of space to accommodate it. \r\n
