Jungle Val – Vallisneria americana

Jungle Val (Vallisneria americana, also sometimes referred to as Tapegrass, V. gigantea or V. americana ‘gigantea’) has long, straight green leaves that are thicker and wider than many other Vallisneria. The leaves can grow very long and makes it an excellent background plant. This is one of the few plants that can survive in brackish water tanks with very low salinity.
