Sally Litefoot Crab – Percnon gibbesi

Sally Litefoot Crabs (Percnon gibbesi) have a very flat body that is yellow. green and rose in color. They spend most of their time scurrying over rock and substrate in search of food. Their flat body allows them to reach many areas of the aquarium that are not always accessible to the aquarist when cleaning. In this way, they can help in keeping the aquarium clean by taking care of food that has fallen in these tight spaces. These crabs should not be housed with predators as they will make a tasty snack but will work well in community tanks and reef aquariums.
